A lifelong conservationist and bushwalker, Ted was a senior environment policy adviser in the NSW Government from 1999 to 2007. This period was a high water mark for conservation policy, the expansion of the protected area system and adoption of numerous far-reaching and lasting environmental reforms. He has served in Local Government.
