United by a love of nature, community fundraisers are always finding ways to support our advocacy, from hosting BBQs to bake sales, music events to outdoor adventures, garage sales to movie nights.
As an independent, non-profit organisation, Wilderness Australia relies on public support to defend, protect and expand Australia’s intact natural areas.
By organising events or crowdfunding campaign, incredible supporters like you help to raise awareness, inspire others and generate the vital funds we need:
- To campaign to protect the Kowmung River and the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park, where sites of immense natural, cultural, and national significance are under threat from the raising of the Warragamba Dam wall.
- To campaign to protect Australia’s remaining native forests from logging, wood chipping, biomass burning and briquette manufacture.
- To campaign for the expansion and connection of protected areas, which act as a buffer against climate change and biodiversity loss.
If you have an idea you’d like to discuss, need some advice or have questions about fundraising with Wilderness Australia, please complete the form on this page.
